1854 'WEST SOMERSET MINERAL RAILWAY' MAIL WASHFORD TO TAUNTON WITH 'WASHFORD' UDC. Fine printed letter from the 'WEST SOMERSET MINERAL RAILWAY' used within Taunton to Stogumber, fine printed imprint and address on front with die 1 1d S.C.14 (SG22) centred low and as usual several short perforations, tied very fine strike '776' numeral of Taunton. On reverse fine strike 'WASHFORD' udc in black and 'TAUNTON' date stamp DE 16 1854. (Ref 136952).
