1849 1D PINK ENVELOPE CLAPTON TO BINFIELD, BERKSHIRE WITH SUPERB 'BINFIELD' UDC IN VIOLET. 1d pink envelope, minor imperfections, from London to 'Mrs Alfred Caswall, Binfield, Berkshire' cancelled very fine London '25' Inland Office numeral and alongside fine strike 'Clapton.N.O' straight line receiver's hand stamp in black (L514), also on front superb strike 'BINFIELD' udc in violet. On reverse BRACKNELL date stamp AP 3 1849. (Ref 125594).
