1850 'BENJAMIN EDGINGTON' PRINTED ILLUSTRATED ENVELOPE LONDON TO WORTH, SUSSEX. A good to fine example of the very attractive printed illustrated envelope from 'BENJAMIN EDGINGTON 2 DUKE ST. SOUTHWARK' with super engraved illustrations of marquees etc, at upper left fine 1d pl.93 (SG8) lettered AD, fine margins and tied good strike London '7' Inland Office numeral. Envelope addressed to 'Revd Thos Livesey, Worth, Sussex'. On front very fine strike 'CRAWLEY' date stamp JA 19 1850 in dark blue. BPA cert 96009. A rare and most attractive usage. (Ref 135572).
