1848 LETTER EXMOUTH TO DUNSTER, TURNED AND REUSED TAUNTON TO BRIDGEWATER WITH 1D REDS (SG8) AND 'DUNSTER' AND 'WHIDDON-CROSS' UDC'S. Letter from Exmouth to 'The Revd. J M King, Cutcombe Vicarage, near Dunster, Somerset' with 1d pl.76 (SG8) lettered QL, cut into, tied '286' numeral of Exmouth. On front fine strike 'DUNSTER' udc in black and on reverse 'EXMOUTH' date stamp in red DE 27 1848. Letter turned and reused from 'Cutcombe Vicarage' 'To Mr West, Bookseller, Bridgewater' with 1d pl.76 (SG8) lettered TB, touched in several places and tied '778' numeral of Taunton. On front fine strikes 'DUNSTER' and 'WHIDDON-CROSS' udc's in black. Slight faults but unusual usage. (Ref 138697).
