Used 1843 1d pl.41 (SG8) lettered AC, touched at top otherwise good margins, cancelled black Maltese Cross and matched with good used example with London numeral and manuscript cancellation, with four close to good margins. Maltese Cross example shows fine HORIZONTAL GUIDE LINE THROUGH VALUE, absent from the later usage due to plate wear. (Ref 120405).
