1844 WRAPPER USED IN LONDON WITH 'BOROUGH' RECEIVER'S HAND STAMPS. Fine wrapper used within London, addressed to 'Richd Smith Esqre., Sol., Chancery Lane' with very fine 1d (SG8) pl.39 lettered QE with four close to fine margins tied superb strike London Maltese cross. On front two fine strikes 'BOROUGH' straight line receiver's hand stamp in red. On reverse London MY 11 1844. Side flap missing but an attractive usage with stamp showing slight plate wear.
