1854 DIE 1 1D IMPERFORATE IMPRIMATUR FROM UNISSUED RESERVE PLATE EIGHT. A very fine imperforate imprimatur from 1854 die 1 1d reserve plate eight lettered IG with four close to fine margins in a dull red-brown shade on blued paper. Reserve plate eight was one of the reserve plates and not used for printing and the only examples that exist are the 21 imprimaturs removed from this sheet. (Ref 138344).
