Fine 1890 Penny Postage Jubilee 1d blue envelope sent registered mail from the exhibition to 'Miss Odette Lawford Brown, 23 Elm Grove, Cricklewood, N.W.' with fine strike 'PENNY POSTAGE JUBILEE/V CROWN R/1840 1890/2.JY.90/SOUTH KENSINGTON' exhibition hand stamp in purple. Envelope uprated with 1d lilac (SG172) x 2 to pay registered fee with fine second strike exhibition hand stamp, stamps with 'JFW' perfin. Unusual and rare usage with only 276 registered items used from these celebrations. (Ref 137799).
