    1840 TURNED LETTER LONDON TO SAXMUNDHAM AND RE-USED TO SWEFFLING, SUFFOLK WITH RARE COMBINATION 1D PENNY BLACKS PLATE 1B (SG2)(PJ) AND PLATE 6 (SG2)(JK). Fine letter from London to Saxmundham, Suffolk dated 18th Sept 1840 with fine 1d black pl.1b (SG2) lettered PJ, fine four margins and tied fine strike red Maltese cross, turned, re-used and re-addressed to the village of Sweffling, Suffolk with fine 1d pl.6 (SG2) lettered JK, red-brown Maltese cross. Some creasing and plate 1b affected by crease but A RARE COMBINATION OF PLATES 1B AND 6 and excellent origami enables successful display of cover. (Ref 140093).
