1870 6D MAUVE PL.9 ERROR IMPERFORATE (SG109a) LETTERED AC MATCHED WITH IMPRIMATUR. A good to fine unused 1870 6d mauve pl.9 ERROR IMPERFORATE (SG109a) lettered AC with fine four margins, good colour and large part original gum. Matched with fine imperforate imprimatur from same plate and same lettering in mauve. A wonderful and very rare matched pair with only four examples plate 9 error imperforate recorded, this example also those lettered AA AB and BB. The error imperforate RPS cert (1992), imprimatur BPA cert. (Ref 139310).
