1865 9D STRAW 'ABNORMAL' PLATE 5 IMPRIMATUR (SG98)(TI). A fine imperforate imprimatur from the 'ABNORMAL' 9d straw plate five (SG98) lettered TI, watermark emblems, fine original gum and fine colour. So called 'abnormal' because this plate was never used for printing and the only examples extant are the 23 imprimaturs removed from the sheet, such as this example. Very rare. (Ref 133141).
