1812 MAIL GREATFORD, LINCS TO NORWICH WITH 'PETERBOROUGH/PENNY POST' HAND STAMP (NN195). Fine letter from Greatford in Lincolnshire to 'The Revd. Mr. Lloyd, Walsham, Norwich, Norfolk' dated 24th December 1812, charged '9' and on front good but over inked strike 'PETERBOROUGH/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (NN195). On reverse good strike boxed 'No.2' receiving house hand stamp of Market Deeping, Lincs which fell under the Peterborough Penny Post in Northamptonshire. (Ref 128911).
