1843 MAIL HEVINGHAM (NORFOLK) TO BRIGHTON WITH NORWICH DISTINCTIVE MALTESE CROSS (SPEC B1ts). Fine letter, partly cross written, from Buxton (Norfolk) to Brighton dated 28th Feb 1843 with 1d (SG8) lettered NI, touched at upper left otherwise four margins, light horizontal bend affects but tied very fine strike of the DISTINCTIVE MALTESE CROSS OF NORWITH (Spec B1ts). Also on front good strike 'Hevingham/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (NK191). On reverse NORWICH date stamp MR 1 1843 and BRIGHTON date stamp MA 2 1843. Good usage. (Ref 125361).
