    1919 'STAMP COLLECTING' AERIAL SOUVENIR OF THE MULREADY DESIGN FROM PARIS TO STAMP DEALER 'F. HUGH VALLANCEY' IN LONDON. A good example of the post card based on the Mulready design, small fault at top and some bends, inscribed 'STAMP COLLECTING AERIAL SOUVENIR. A GREETING FROM THE CLOUDS. This souvenir was posted from French soil. It was conveyed across the Channel in an aeroplane by me on the date shown on the Postmark' and underneath printed signature of the stamp dealer 'F Hugh Vallancey'. On reverse French 10c red cancelled 'PARIS/PL. DE LA BOURSE' 4.3.1919' and addressed to Vallancey in Farringdon Street, London. Vallancey was the editor of Stamp Collecting magazine. (Ref 137777).
