Endorsed on front 'Via Marseilles' and 'Officers Letter 22/10/55'. Letter written from Scutari Hospital as confirmed with good to fine strike 'POST.OFFICE/BRITISH-ARMY' date stamp in blue OC 22 1855 with code 'C' ex Scutari Hospital. Also on reverse London date stamps NO 1 1855. Stamp 'LA' shows fine broken perforation pin at lower left. Fine usage. (Ref 131333).
