Letter from Mainz dated 30th March 1822 to Huth of London, on front light strike 'MAINZ/PP' hand stamp in black, straight line 'FRANCO' hand stamp and fine strike London '1 Oz at 6s/8d per Oz' unframed hand stamp in black (L1035b). Filing fold clear of hand stamps. On reverse London Foreign Branch dotted date stamp AP 11 1822. Good usage. (Ref 137729).
