Very fine entire from 'Staple Inn' Tottenham dated 17th Aug 1795 addressed to 'John Johnston Esqr of Alva Edin', charged '7' and redirected to Alloa with additional charge of '3'. On front fine to very fine strike of the rare large type 'TOTTM/- 1 -' receiving house hand stamp in black (L418). On reverse Edinburgh Bishop mark 'AU/20' in red. (Ref 123307).
