A very fine postal notice, 240 x 383mm, dated December 1833 and headed 'No. 2./LIST OF PLACES IN THE DELIVERY OF THE LONDON TWOPENNY-POST. FOR THE USE OF POSTMASTERS' and listing 169 places within the counties of Middlesex, Surrey, Essex, Kent and Herts 'All Letters for Places in the above List, are to be tied with the Letters for London, and charged with the Postage to London only, and of course on Paid Letters, the Two-Penny Post rate is not to be taken, thought it may happen that some persons will desire to pay it-the Postage to London only must be received.'.
