1782 'G.W' LONDON GENERAL POST RECEIVER'S HAND STAMP OF GEORGE WALTERS ON LETTER LONDON TO BRIDGWATER. Fine letter from London to 'Mr Abraham Stevens, Atty., Stowey near Bridgwater, Somersetshire' dated 12th November 1782 and charged '4'. On reverse fine strike 'G.W' circular hand stamp of the London General Post receiver George Walters and London Bishop mark '12/NO'. According to Feldman this is the only recorded example of this hand stamp. (Ref 128114).
