Undated letter to 'Mr John Clephane at her Grace the Duchess of Rutlands Grosvenor Square', on reverse fine to very fine strike (over flap) General Office Dockwra type 3b (L335a) 'G/MO'. Aside from letter contents also include a recipe involving 'Lungs of Calf, gallon milk, half pound Eringo root, nutmegs, the whites of eight eggs, one gallon snails, a quart montain wine, also common Dove'.
