Envelope from Liverpool to 'Thos Grant Esquire, Louth' with 1d (SG8), cut into at foot and tied small part '466' numeral of Liverpool. On front fine strike 'PxL' Paid Late hand stamp of Liverpool in red (LL212) and manuscript 'Pd Late' which appears to confirm usage of this hand stamp. On reverse 'LIVERPOOL' date stamp AP 17 1845. Some creasing but clear of stamp and hand stamp. (Ref 132723).
