1839 MAIL SWINESHED TO HORNCASTLE WITH 'SWINSHEAD' TYPE 'F' HAND STAMP (LI1039). Fine cross written letter from Swineshed to Horncastle dated 25 March 1839, charged '6' and on front fair strike 'BOSTON/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (LI135). On reverse fine strike of the rare 'SWINSHEAD' straight line hand stamp in black type 'F' (LI1039) and BOSTON date stamp MA 26 1839. (Ref 125248).
