Small group of four items from the village of Empingham in Rutland comprising 1907 post card to Holbeach with fine strike 'EMPINGHAM/STAMFORD' skeleton date stamp MR 20 07, 1909 post card to Stamford with 'EMPINGHAM' single ring date stamp DE 25 09, 1932 post card to Birmingham with 'EMPINGHAM' single ring date stamp 8 JU 32 and 1991 certificate of posting with 'EMPINGHAM.OAKHAM/LEICS' double ring date stamp 13 AU 91. Empingham is in Rutland but from 29th May 1974 until 1st April 1997 it was part of Leicestershire. (4 items). (Ref 138080).
