1839 WRAPPER LONDON TO BIRSTALL, REDIRECTED TO LEEDS, 'TURNED' AND RE-USED TO LONDON. Wrapper from London to 'Reverend H.J. Smith, Birkenshaw Parsonage, Birstall, Yorks' redirected to Leeds with London PAID date stamp 25 JY 1839, rather soiled on this side. Wrapper turned with pre-printed address 'Christopher Hodgson Esq., Bounty Office, Dean's Yard, Westminster' with good strike 'Birstal/Penny Post' hand stamp in brown (YK385). (Ref 128173).
