Fine letter from Glasgow dated 6th Aug 1845 to 'Wm Shand Esquire, of Craigellie, by Cortes, Aberdeenshire' with 1d (SG8) lettered JH, four close to fine margins and tied '159' numeral of Glasgow. On reverse very fine strike 'CORTES' straight line hand stamp in blue and 'GLASGOW' and Edinburgh date stamps AU 6 1845. (Ref 136452).
