McLeod, Inspector of Poor, Dunoon' with fine die 2 1d (Spec C6), centred high due to misplaced sheet variety, cancelled very fine strike 'CATHCART' Scots local type XX in black. Filing fold at foot of envelope clear of stamp and cancellation. On reverse 'GLASGOW' date stamp JU 12 1856 and 'DUNOON' date stamp JN 15 1856. Fine and very scarce usage. (Ref 136364).
