Letter from Sowerby Bridge dated April 27th to 'Mr Samuel Hall, 37 Vincent Square, Westminster, London' with fine 1d pl.77 (SG8) lettered SE with fine four margins and tied numeral cancellation. On front light strike 'SOWERBY BRIDGE' udc in black, on reverse 'HALIFAX' date stamp AP 27 1848. (Ref 135935).
