Good used 1857 die 2 1d pl.53 pale rose shade 'SAVOY STREET PRINTING' on cream toned/white paper (Spec C9A(1) lettered BC in a typical Savoy Street washed out shade. Several shorter perforations at lower right, cancelled fine strike '953' numeral of Blackpool, Lancs. RPS cert when this plate was listed as a white paper printing. Very rare Cat £4500. (Ref 140094).
