1847 1D PINK ENVELOPE LANCASTER TO LONDON WITH 'CATON' UDC (LA321). Used 1d pink envelope, small tear at foot and some creasing, from Lancaster to 'John Greg Esq, No. 70 Victoria Hotel, Euston Square, London' cancelled good to fine strike '436' numeral of Lancaster. On reverse fine to very fine strike 'CATON' udc in dark blue (LA321) and 'LANCASTER' date stamp MY 12 1847 also in dark blue. (Ref 135686).
