1855 MAIL LYDD, KENT TO JAMAICA WITH 6D EMBOSSED (SG58). Fine envelope from Lydd in Kent to 'Captain Farlitone RN, HMS Eurydice, Port Royal, Jamaica' with good 6d embossed, touched at top otherwise very close to large margins and cancelled good strike '566' numeral of New Romney in Kent. On reverse 'LYDD' date stamp NO 1 1855 and 'KINGSTON/JAMAICA' receiver NO 22 1855. Scarce usage. (Ref 136259).
