1836 FREE FRANK FROM DOVER TO DUBLIN SIGNED 'WELLINGTON'. Fine envelope from Dover to 'W Boothby, Ordnance Office, Dublin, Ireland' signed at lower left 'Wellington' and in the same hand at top 'Dover October twenty fifth', on front London 'FREE' date stamp 26 OC 1836. On reverse 'DOVER' date stamp OC 25 1836 and Dublin date stamp 28 OC 1836. The Duke of Wellington was twice Prime Minister and at times lived Walmer Castle in Kent. Very fine example of Parliamentary Privilege. (Ref 136762).
