1918 FIRST WORLD WAR HAND PAINTED CORRESPONDENCE (15 ITEMS) FROM VARIOUS 'FIELD POST OFFICES' TO THE ANGEL FAMILY IN EXETER. A most unusual and attractive group of fifteen covers of which fourteen are postally used, one unused from various 'Field Post Offices' to the Angel Family in Exeter. All with good to very fine hand painted watercolour pictures depicting yachting, rural scenes or beach scenes. Nine usages are sent 'O.A.S.' without stamps, one with postage dues, two with KGV 1½d and two with 2d values. All are cancelled 'FIELD POST OFFICE' hand stamps between 23rd June 1918 and 26th December 1918. (15 items). (Ref 136261).
