Fine letter, part cross written to reduce postage costs from Broughton to Regents Park London dated July 28 1828, charged "9" and on front fine strike unframed "No.1" receiver's hand stamp of Broughton and fine strike boxed "T.P/Rate 2" hand stamp in black. On reverse very fine strike unframed "Stockbridge/Penny Post" hand stamp in black (HA1389). (Ref 112654).
