Noble, 39 Lady Margaret Rd, London N.W.' at upper right unused example 1860 1d Inland Revenue reddish lilac on bluish paper overprinted 'INLAND/REVENUE' in red (SGF8/L108). Alongside superb strike 'KENTISH.TOWN.N.W.' squared circle DE 8 88. RPS cert 211047 states 'L108... used on cover dated 9 DEC 88-stamp very toned and torn across centre at right-is genuine as far as one can say despite the lack of tieing'.
