1841 1D RED PL. TEN (SG7)(PF) ON COVER EDINBURGH TO LONDON. Wrapper, slight creasing, from Edinburgh to a map publisher Charing Cross East London with very fine 1d red pl.10 (SG7) lettered PF with four close to fine margins, tied fine strike Edinburgh Maltese Cross clear of Queen's profile. On reverse Edinburgh date stamp APR 5 1841. Stamp shows very fine 'O' flaw. (Ref 119993).
