1839 MANUSCRIPT "SHAFTESBURY PENNY POST" ON ENTIRE TO ANDOVER. Very fine letter Kington Magna to Andover Hants dated Aug 31st 39, on front fine strike unframed "No.9" receiver's hand stamp of Kington Magna and on reverse superb and very rare ms "Shaftesbury/Penny Post". For a very short time the Shaftesbury Penny Post hand stamp was mislaid and ms written, this is the only example recorded to date. (Ref 111330).
