Good used 1d Mulready envelope (stereo A178) from Blandford to Exeter College Oxford, slight soiling and cancelled fine red-orange M.C. of Blandford. Also on front part strike of the unframed "No.6" receiver's hand stamp of Bere Regis in black, on reverse good strike BLANDFORD/JU 2 1840 /PY.POST hand stamp in red (DT56) and OXFORD receiver. Wax seal on reverse reads "Bere Regis". (Ref 110260).
