Envelope, slight imperfections as usual, from London to 'Lieut Colonel Cocks, Coldstream Guards, Army in Crimea' with die 2 1d L.C.14 (Spec C6) lettered LC and fine to very fine 2d blue pl.5 S.C.16 (SG20a) lettered EG, latter lifted to check watermark, both tied London '19' Inland Office numerals. On reverse London date stamp 28 JA 1856. Good combination of penny and twopenny, also both watermarks and perforation 14 and perforation 16. (Ref 139511).
