A good to fine mint block of four of the rare 1857 Die 2 1d plate 45 rose-red on white paper (SG40) lettered AG AH BG BH, AG AH fine og, BG BH unmounted. Fine colour and AG AH show 'SHORT A ROW' from perforation adjustment. RPS cert 159711 'is genuine, slightly creased'. Matched with three used examples plate 45 lettered AG on blued paper (SG29) trimmed perfs, transitional paper (C9) and a very scarce used white paper printing (SG40). (4 items). (Ref 96801).
