1856 DORSET/"MARNHALL" UDC. 1856 letter Blandford to "Mr Wills Solicitor Shaston" with a fine die 2 1d red-brown on blued paper (SG29) lettered QB tied "87" numeral of Blandford. On reverse fine to very fine strike MARNHALL udc in black and BLANDFORD date stamp DE 31 1856, SHAFTESBURY date stamp JA 1 1857. Udc shows error of spelling Marnhall for Marnhull, and one of only three examples recorded to date. (Ref 110926).
