Fine used 1d Mulready wrapper, stereo A47, from Stowmarket with printed address 'To the East of England Bank' with manuscript 'Ixworth', cancelled two indistinct strikes of the black Maltese cross of Stowmarket. Within fine banking imprint/manuscript '8th Feby 1842./Please to credit the East of England Bank, Stowmarket, £20.00'. To date 20 examples of this 'advert' are recorded, three of which are on stereo A47 which is one of the substituted stereos (Spec ME1e). (Ref 137733).
