Fine to very fine used block of four 1856 die 2 1d pl.31 from the rare RED-BROWN ON WHITE PAPER PRINTING (SG37/Spec C8A) lettered PD PE QD QE, several shorter perforations at lower right, each stamp cancelled fine strike '41' numeral of Bakewell, Derbys. RPS cert 113138, the only used block of four from this rare printing that we have seen in 40 years. (Ref 138903).
