1840 1D MULREADY ENVELOPE CHIPPING ONGAR, ESSEX TO LIVERPOOL WITH 'CHIPPING ONGAR' UDC (EX334). Fine used 1d Mulready envelope, stereo A174, from Chipping Ongar in Essex to a Mr John Joynson of Liverpool cancelled fine strike red Maltese cross. On reverse fine strike 'CHIPPING-ONGAR' udc in black (EX334) and London date stamp 29 JY 1840. Good provincial usage. (Ref 139466).
