A good to fine used example of the very scarce 1911 First U.K. Aerial Post privilege post card in violet, slight creasing, from London to London (via Windsor!) from, written and signed by 'D. Lewis Poole' to 'Mr. Keneally, Acting Secretary 'Aerial Post', General Buildings, Aldwych, London W.C.' with KEDVII ½d tied fine strike 'FIRST UNITED KINGDOM/AERIAL POST LONDON' date stamp SP 9 1911 die 1. D. Lewis Poole was joint Secretary of the Aerial Post Organising Committee, Mr. Keneally had been appointed Aerial Post Acting Secretary at P.C.
