A good example (small tear at left) of the London post card in olive-green with KGV ½d Downey cancelled good strike FIRST UNITED KINGDOM/AERIAL POST LONDON date stamp SP 9 1911 die 1 addressed to Forest Gate, Essex. On reverse "Gamages" with note "Am sending you best of love and to the "Wee Son" by "First Aerial Post" via Windsor Castle". Gamages was one of the London stores selling the cards and one of the collection points. (Ref 104446).
