A good unused right marginal horizontal pair 1911 1d Downey die 1B watermark crown (SG329), right hand stamp showing the known constant variety 'PALE LION' (spec N8k) but apparently this example is not from row 19/12. This pair shows the pale area extending into the mane and the sheet position is different, there is no cut in the side bar and the part POSTAGE watermark in margin puts the item as row 6 or 16. A new discovery. Unmounted o.g., horizontal bend. (Ref 122671).
