1878 MAIL GERMANY TO DIDCOT REDIRECTED BACK TO GERMANY. Envelope, small faults Dresden to Didcot with German 10 pf, one damaged cancelled DRESDEN date stamps 8 5 78, redirected back to Leipzig with 2½d rosy-mauve pl.6 (SG141) lettered EI tied fine strike of the scarce 'E76' numeral of Didcot. Latter cancellation used one month later Parmenter records. On reverse DIDCOT date stamps MY 11 78. (Ref 118517).
