Good to fine used 1850 1d Archer experimental perforation pl.100 (SG16b) lettered BJ, centred to lower left otherwise fine and cancelled blue numeral, probably '29' of Ashburton in Devon. Cancellation clear of alphabet 1 check letters. Matched with good used 1d imperforate (SG8), same plate same lettering, with four margins but slight surface rubbing and cancelled '53' London District Office numeral. (2 items). (Ref 130100).
