1850 1D ARCHER EXPERIMENTAL PERFORATION PL.98 (SG16b)(DC) MATCHED PAIR. Good used 1850 1d Archer experimental perforation pl.98 (SG16b) lettered DC, one short perforation lower left but well centred, indistinct cancellation clear of alphabet 1 check letters. Matched with 1d imperforate (SG8), same plate same lettering, four margins but some surface rubbing, cancelled '959' numeral of Clifton in Bristol. Both stamps show 'D' very misplaced. (2 items).
