1840 1D INTENSE BLACK PL1B (SG1)(AD). Fine used 1840 1d intense black pl.1b (SG1) lettered AD with four close to fine margins and cancelled very fine strike red Maltese cross. Stamp shows 10 o'clock ray flaw NW square and is an excellent example of the very scarce intense shade. (Ref 132946).
